Op de een of andere manier lijken we allemaal perfectie na te jagen, alsof alleen perfectie goed genoeg is? Maar wat is er nu eigenlijk mooi aan perfectie?
Het meisje op het plaatje hierboven heb ik zelf getekend, ze is verre van perfect maar ik vind haar onwijs leuk en weet je waarom? Ze komt uit mijn hand, ik heb haar getekend, ze is uniek en als ik naar haar kijk weet ik dat ze niet perfect is, maar wel interessant om naar te kijken. Ze zet me aan het denken en tovert tevens een glimlach op mijn gezicht.
Het is het tekenen op zich waar ik plezier aan beleef, ik vind het heerlijk ontspannend en het is zo leuk om iets te zien 'groeien' op papier.
Iets met plezier doen is zoveel belangrijker dan het eindresultaat, wat maakt het uit dat je tekening of bijvoorbeeld je haakwerkje niet perfect geworden is?
Je hebt het geprobeerd, je bent er mee aan de slag gegaan en ik hoop met veel plezier, daar draait het om!
Perfectie is voor mij het nieuwe saai! ;-)

In one way or another, we all seem to pursue perfection, if only perfection is good enough?
But what is actually nice about perfect?
I drew the girl in the picture above myself, she is far from perfect, but I think she is the cutest and you know why? She comes out of my hand, I drew her, she is unique and when I look at her I know she is not perfect, but interesting to watch. She set me thinking, and also puts a smile on my face.
It is drawing itself where I experience enjoyment in, I find it very relaxing and it's so nice to see something 'grow' on paper.
Doing something fun is much more important than the end result, what does it matter that your drawing or your crocheting does not become perfect?
You've tried it, you started make something and I hope you had fun with it, that is the key!
Perfection for me is the new boring! ;-)
