Ik ben dol op mandjes, het liefst van riet, maar ook draadmandjes vind ik erg leuk.

In mijn huis is dan ook menig mandje te vinden, super handig als opbergruimte voor mijn rommeltjes en ze staan ook nog eens leuk als decoratie. 

Ik heb wat foto's bij elkaar gezocht om je wat inspiratie te geven voor het gebruik van mandjes in je interieur!

I love baskets, preferably made ​​of rattan, but I also really like wire baskets.

Geloof jij in de schoonheid van je dromen? Geloof jij überhaupt in dromen? 

Er bestaan verschillende dromen, zo kun je dromen als je slaapt of je kunt je bezig houden met 'dagdromen'. Vandaag haak ik graag op dit laatste in. 

Dagdromen is een van mijn favoriete bezigheden, in deze dromen bepaal je je eigen koers en zijn er geen grenzen. Mijn dagdromen gaan vooral over de toekomst, over wat ik graag nog zou willen doen of zou willen bereiken. 

Het is heel vaak dankzij mijn dromen dat ik nieuwe inspiratie of energie weet te vinden op de momenten dat ik het allemaal wat somber in zie. 

Zoals Walt Disney zegt: If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It - (Als je het kan dromen, dan kan je het doen)

Ik ben er van overtuigd dat hier een kern van waarheid in zit en blijf daarom graag bezig met het dromen van en over de dingen die ik leuk vind. 

Dagdroom jij ook wel eens en denk je dat het je helpt om je dromen te verwezenlijken?

Do you believe in the beauty of your dreams? Do you believe in dreams at all?

There are different dreams, you can dream when you sleep or you can engage in 'daydreaming'. Today I would like to hook into the latter.

  

Daydreaming is one of my favorite things in this dream you determine your own course and there are no limits. My daydreams are mainly about the future, about what I would like to do or would like to achieve.  

It is quite often because of my dream that I know how to find new ideas and energy in moments when I see it all a bit gloomy. 

As Walt Disney said: If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It .
 

I am convinced that there is a grain of truth in it and, therefore, I like to stay busy dreaming of  and about the things I like.

Intens Verdriet ~*~ Intense Grief

Normaal gesproken begin ik de week graag positief met een mooie quote of tekst. 

Deze week gaat het een beetje anders.....

Op deze maandag wil ik graag stil staan bij alle slachtoffers die zijn omgekomen bij de vliegtuigramp van Malaysia Airlines, vertrokken vanaf Schiphol richting Kuala Lumpur.

Mijn medeleven gaat uit naar de familie, vrienden en een ieder die zich op welke wijze dan ook verbonden voelde met de slachtoffers. 

Na zo'n vreselijke ramp schieten woorden te kort... het geeft me een machteloos en intens verdrietig gevoel.

Normally I like to start the week positively with a nice quote or text. 

This week is a little different .....

On this Monday I would like to dwell on all the victims who died in the plane crash of Malaysia Airlines, departed from Schiphol Airport to Kuala Lumpur. 

My condolences go out to the family, friends and anyone who felt in any way connected to the victim.

After such a terrible disaster there are no words... it gives me an intense sad and powerless feeling.

Deze week blijft het waarschijnlijk een beetje stil op mijn blog, het is me gister onwijs vervelend in mijn rug geschoten ;-)

DIY Ikea: Keukenbank ~ ♥ ~ Kitchenbank

Ik vind dit zo'n leuk idee en zó jammer dat mijn keuken hier veel te klein voor is! 

Wat lijkt het me een heerlijk knus plekje om lekker te gaan zitten, de kleurcombinatie is rustig gevend.... erg leuk! 

Misschien heb jij wel een ruime keuken en ben je benieuwd hoe dit is gemaakt?

De bank bestaat uit boven keukenkastjes van de ikea, de kastjes zijn op een houtenframe geplaatst om ze wat hoger en van de grond te houden. Zorg dat het houten frame iets smaller is dan de kastjes en schilder het zwart, zo lijken de kastjes te zweven!

Van een stuk schuimrubber is een kussen om op te zitten gemaakt, voeg hier nog wat gezellige kussentjes aan toe en klaar is je leuke bank!

I think this is a great idea, and I am so sorry that my kitchen is much too small for it! 

It seems to me as a cozy place for a nice sit down, the color combination is calming.... realy nice!

Maybe you have a spacious kitchen and you're wondering how this is made​​?

The bench consists of upper kitchen cabinets from ikea, the cabinets are mounted on a wood frame to lift them a little higher of the ground. Make sure the timber frame is slightly narrower than the cabinets and paint it black, so seem the cabinets to float!

A cushion to sit on is made of a piece of foam​​, insert some nice cushions to it and ready is your nice bench!

Het kleurboek is zowel in een gedrukte versie als in een PDF bestand verkrijgbaar, je vindt het hier in de webwinkel.

Wanneer je de gedrukte versie koopt ontvang je gratis het PDF bestand erbij, zo kun je je favoriete kleurplaten nog eens uitprinten. 

Het gedrukte kleurboek is voorzien van een metalen ring, je kleurboek blijft zo makkelijk open liggen, dat kleurt wel zo prettig! De kleurplaten zijn enkelzijdig, op A4 formaat en op een wat dikker, glad, wit papier geprint.  

Het boek bevat 25 verschillende kleurplaten.

Kleur in je interieur brengen kun je met accessoires doen maar ook door een meubelstuk een gezellig kleurtje te geven. Ik vind de zachte kleuren op de foto's erg leuk en zou willen dat mijn interieur al zo ver was dat ik dit ook toe kan passen! 

Ik ben benieuwd welke kleur jij het mooist vind en of jij je meubels ook een kleurtje hebt geven!
